Authors Abstract
Content
To reduce diesel particulate, particulate trap systems were developed and tested. This paper describes briefly the test results of them. Also it describes the test results and problems of the systems on which research and experiments are being continued.
First, particulate trap systems were developed and tested for the light duty diesel. Then, shift was made to the development and test of the particulate trap system for the heavy duty diesel.
The results showed that, particulate loading, trap inlet temperature, amount of gas supplied to the trap and gas supply timing were required to control for stable regeneration and preventing the damage of the trap.
