Following policy guidelines on National development scheme in the field of automotive industry in Indonesia, progressive manufacturing activities have taken place in Indonesia. The progress of supporting industries and infra-structure, as well as market potential and structure, have influenced the effort in progressive manufacturing scheme in commercial vehicles. The state of affairs will be reviewed, followed by progressive manufacturing and development effort.
