Development of Fiberboard Concepts for New Vehicle Applications

Fiberboard substrates for interior trim components are becoming increasingly popular for new vehicle applications. The design process and timing, from the initial theme selection to the first production vehicle, are reviewed. Specific design requirements for fiberboard substrates are discussed and future development considerations are given.
