- A thermodynamic model is presented for the external and internal combustion process for the fuel flexile engine described in Part I. The model describes the thermo-dynamic and flow processes involved in partially burnt gases from the precombustion chamber thrusting into the power chambers and thence further combustion in the power chambers. The model consists of two parts: a flow simulation of the thrust process and a thermo-dynamic simulation of the internal combustion by using a three zone sub-model for combustion. The results are presented graphically for engine performance prediction and parameter optimization.
