Authors Abstract
Content
The new high purity magnesium alloys have shown their ability to withstand strongly corrosive environments as far as general corrosion is concerned. However, avoiding or minimizing galvanic corrosion is primarily a matter of design and materials selection. Experimental data and suggested fastener design for improved protection against galvanic corrosion of magnesium are presented.
