Abstract

Content: This is a progress report of the efforts of the Cal Poly student chapter of the American Helicopter Society (AHS) to win the Igor Sikorsky prize. Although unsuccessful in achieving a man powered hover, the attempt has generated a great deal of interest in the helicopter industry.
