Content
The detail design process of a double wish-bone suspension is described. This suspension is designed for passenger's comfort and ride within the acceptable strength. Criterions are discussed for such purpose. Numerical methods are used in selecting the basic geometry parameters for steering and suspension parts. The process of design and check the section of two arms is described, which is design the suspension according to maxim perpendicular force and lateral force and check it according to the maxim perpendicular force and vertical force. And other consideration and components of the suspension is mentioned. At last, two kinds of drawings, part drawing and assembly drawing, for the suspension system is described.
