Weight and cost are critical parameters in any new product development program, influencing aspects such as homologation and efficiency. Traditionally, tracking these parameters at the machine, subsystem, and module levels involves a manual, time-consuming process. This reactive approach often delays the program and hampers the productivity of design engineers. These challenges can be managed with an automation and simulation. WCOSAP automates the extraction of weight details, identifies outliers, calculates module-level impacts, and predicts future weight changes. This proactive tool eliminates repetitive manual work, enhances data accuracy, and supports dynamic updates. By integrating real-time data and predictive models, WCOSAP enables sound decision-making and proactive weight control during the design phase, ultimately improving efficiency and reducing the need for part revisions. This paper discusses the development, implementation, and benefits of the WCOSAP tool, highlighting its impact on productivity, cost savings. WCOSAP ensures that it is not only a powerful tool for weight and cost management but also one that is easy to adopt and use, ultimately enhancing productivity and efficiency for design engineers and project managers
