Data Management in the '80s

Technical documentation problems can be minimized in this decade by having reliance upon the judgment of competent people rather than relying upon prematurely specified requirements set down in specifications and standards which have not kept pace with the state-of-the-art or have been tailored to the specific requirements of the contract. The 1980s will demand recognition of automated, high capacity, low cost documentation methods.
