Condition Based Maintenance-Data Warehouse (CBM-DW): Realizing the potential of CBM through Data Warehouse Technology

The Condition Based Maintenance-Data Warehouse (CBM-DW) system is designed to record and store CBM related Army aviation data from multiple sources, to provide on-line access to read the data and report information, and to allow the user to download user-selectable datasets for further analysis with third party tools. This paper demonstrates how the CBM-DW system provides a customer-focused, state-of-the-art data warehouse that enables US Army Aviation to gain new insights into aviation and maintenance data needed to support Condition Based Maintenance (CBM).
