The integration technology of autonomous navigation and positioning provides critical technical support for high-precision positioning in the marine environment. As an indispensable core technology in modern marine navigation, satellite navigation plays a vital role in marine navigation safety and precision operations, such as marine surveying, ship navigation, and offshore engineering. The BDS PPPB2b service is commonly used in the marine high-precision application. However, compared to the landing application, the BDS PPP in the marine environment performs poorly due to the complex environmental factors on the ship-borne platform, such as hull occlusion and sea surface signal reflection. To compare and analyze the positioning performance differences of BDS PPP-B2b between shore-based and ship-borne platforms, an experiment has been conducted by using real data of the BDS receiver on both shore-based and ship-borne platforms. The results have shown that the BDS PPPB2b positioning performance on a ship-borne platform achieves poor satellite visibility and stable positioning performance. The BDS PPPB2b positioning accuracy after convergence can reach centimeter and decimeter levels on shore-based and ship-borne platforms, respectively.
