Within the European Columbus Program, the Attached Pressurized Module (APM) and the Pressurized Module of the Man Tended Free Flyer (MTFF), called PM2 are of interest for the life support community.
An extensive description of technical aspects of the Environmental and Life Support Subsystem (ECLS) of the APM has been presented at the ICES conference last year (1). The purpose of this paper is to update the COLUMBUS-ECLS approach in view of the actual COLUMBUS scenario, highlighting programmatic aspects and external interfaces.
