- Content
- Principles of economics, engineering, and physics are applied to earthwork problems. Rolling resistance, the swell and shrinkage of soils, the compaction of soil, and the effect of low air pressure are briefly discussed and applied to example problems. One earthwork task to which queueing theory has been applied is given.
