- Content
- The commercial operation of continuous annealing lines for cold-rolled sheet steel in the United States makes available a wide variety of high-strength products previously not available from domestic sources. The products to be produced by Bethlehem are divided into five categories according to their strengthening mechanism and alloy content. The metallurgy and formability of these new products is discussed followed by a comparison of several additional characteristics including strengthening during forming, bake hardening, etc.
