There exists today and for the foreseeable future, a broad area of potential for diagnostics for both a truck service and sales operation. It is the purpose of this paper to examine these specific areas including their beneficial potential, as well as the related problem considerations that are equally significant.
The information presented is based on the personal experience of the writer, along with his association with and observance of truck service centers and other automotive service facilities utilizing diagnostic equipment.
