- Distribution channels for cellular telephones are transitioning toward integration of hardware by the automobile manufacturer. This change in distribution is being fueled by the rapid expansion of cellular communications, new developments in digital cellular technology, and the need to have increased safety, ergonomics, and convenience provided to the automotive consumer.
