Abstract
Content
The performance of ceramic wall flow Diesel particulate traps with a base metal coating and a combined base and precious metals impregnation are discussed in relation to collection efficiency, soot ignition behaviour and emissions reduction.
Both types of catalytically activated Diesel filters were evaluated in a stationary dynamometer using a passenger car Diesel engine and a heavy duty truck engine.
Lastly the application of catalytic particulate control to a large Diesel engine of a stationary power plant is described.
