Authors Abstract
Content
The case for an irreversible, fully active suspension system is presented. The case is based upon the authors' experience of designing and developing the Lotus Active Suspension System over a seven year period. To date over thirty research vehicles have been fitted with the System, and work is well advanced to develop versions for installation in production road vehicles.
