In this paper we present an overview of an application for the command and control of multiple unmanned vehicles. Scalable Warbots for Attack and Recon/surveillance Missions (SWARM) is a modular algorithm toolkit which allows the development, testing, and demonstration of a variety of techniques, tactics, and procedures for controlling teams of autonomous vehicles in dynamic battlefield environments. The initial focus of this effort concentrated on autonomous UAV team planning for reconnaissance and surveillance missions. Overviews of the SWARM architecture, algorithms and visualization environment will be presented as well as a discussion of future work.
