Automotive Transportation in Saudi Arabia

THE building of an automotive transportation system in eastern Saudi Arabia was fraught with difficulties. Only two of these are discussed here, namely, providing vehicles that have reasonable sand mobility and developing means of dissipating the heat from the engines when the air scooped up from the road is as high as 135 F.
