Automated Tube Design Through Computer Graphics

International Harvester Co. has developed a computerized graphics system of designing and fabricating tubing. The system will assist in the tube design, and will prepare detail part drawings, templates, interference checking drawings, and will generate fabricating data for tube bending. The procedure has reduced engineering and manufacturing costs while improving product quality.
