Akebono Brake Industry Co., Ltd. has developed a hydraulic ABS/ASR unit which is an “Add-on” type, compatible with a regular brake line, having two additional solenoid valves, a low-pressure accumulator, a pressure transfer piston, and a pump plunger for the ASR.
