Application of Metallic Materials for Aircraft Structures in the Temperature Range 600 to 1100 F

A BRIEF review is presented of a portion of the available strength property data for a few representative alloys which find use in airframe structural components in the range from 600 to 1100 F. Several modes of behavior are illustrated, and some general principles regarding the interpretation and use of said data for design purposes are discussed.
