Authors Abstract
Content
This paper describes the development of the Fluidlastic® isolator concepts and the application of these concepts to turbofan aircraft. These isolator concepts have been developed to meet the demands for increased passenger comfort levels in aircraft interiors. The developments include design methods and test techniques used to determine proper parameters. Isolator test data and the data obtained from a full scale system test set-up is presented.
