- REPORTED here is the present status of equilibrium air distillation as applied to gasoline performance calculations.Equilibrium air distillation is the type of vaporization occurring when a liquid fuel and its vapor and air are in equilibrium.Data on the EAD characteristics of fuels can be used to help in dealing with the problems of preparing combustible air/fuel vapor mixtures from the supplied air/liquid fuel mixtures.
