Anaerobic Adhesives for Sheet Metal Assembly

Anaerobic structural adhesives have been developed for use in many fields. Information is given regarding one anaerobic structural adhesive which is designed to be used in a production environment for aluminum and steel sheet fabrication. The product was tested particularly for its durability, and tests were performed mustly on production-type surfaces. These tests included heat aging, humidity resistance, weatherometer testing, and fatigue testing; repair considerations are also discussed.
