Air Force Facility for Large Turbine Engine Compressor Testing

“A 30,000 H. P. electric drive steady-state and transient aircraft turbine engine compressor test facility is currently under construction at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This paper presents a brief discussion of the history and technical justification of this unique major national test capability.”
