The Advanced Daimler-Benz Driving Simulator

The Daimler-Benz Driving Simulator is a tool for research and development. It was put into operation in 1984/85 and has been enhanced since that time in many details, having gained a lot of experience in many different applications.

During a major modernization phase from autumn ‘93 until summer ‘94, the driving dynamics computer system as well as the visual system have been exchanged, and the hydraulic motion system has been extended in lateral direction to improve motion simulation quality.
