As the defense industry prioritizes speed of play to allow our warfighters to maintain a decisive edge over our adversaries, creativity is needed to leverage COTS effectively. This paper presents a case study of a fast-paced workflow leveraging modeling and simulation, targeted risk testing, thermal characterization, and accelerated life testing.
