- A SURVEY of 30 typical bus operating companies was made by the author to get a representative opinion regarding the accessibility of present-day buses for servicing and maintenance.After pointing out the large number of complaints about inaccessibility that these companies had, he discusses their needs under the following classification:

Accessibility for nightly service operations.

Accessibility for scheduled inspection, testing, and adjustment work.

Accessibility for removal of complete units.
