A Universal Interface for the Integration of Emissions Testing Equipment Into Engine Testing Automation Systems: The VDA-AK SAMT-Interface

The AK SAMT-Interface is a simple, standardized communications interface for the integration of emissions testing equipment into emissions testing automation systems. Basic information on the scope, hardware and software characteristics, device operating concepts, availability and economic impact of this interface is given. Some problems of the interface are discussed.
