- To develop a multi-chemistry Battery Management System (BMS) an analysis was done of different types of Li-ion chemistries to evaluate the requirements for such a BMS. This paper gives a brief summary of the conclusions of this work, focusing on the differences between chemistries much more than requirements will are similar or identical for all chemistries. In particular it will focus on SOC measurement and cell balancing.
