A Microprocessor Based CRT Controller for Automotive Applications

The architecture and capabilities of a new generation of video terminal chip are discussed. The basic principles of video picture generation are explained in relation to chip capabilities. Soon to be available hardware and software development support is described. A possible application in an automotive dashboard is discussed.
