A Liquid Crystal Shutter Display-High Resolution Color

Vehicular displays are increasingly using graphics and color to improve visual impact. The ability to configure any practical vehicular display with color is limited with most displays. A new technology, the Liquid Crystal Shutter (LCS) display provides vivid color pictures with high resolution and high contrast, but at a reasonable cost. The benefits and architecture of a LCS based display system are briefly discussed in this paper.
