A DFM Intelligent for Automotive Body Panel Design

This paper proposes another methodology for automotive body panels that is aimed at providing advice on the manufacturability at an early stage of the design with respect to total high-quality surface classification. The system is called Automotive Advisory System and uses a knowledge-based type approach. The knowledge-based system structure will be outlined and discussed. Conclusion will then be drawn.
