A Computerized Automatic Control System for Structural Testing

This paper describes an advanced computerized system which was custom designed and developed for automatically controlling complex structural fatigue tests. The background and the system hardware, operating procedures, and capabilities are described. Examples of actual test operations are given, and the advantages of the systems are discussed.
