This presentation is meant to share the major service issues that dealership and independent technicians are currently facing relative to diagnosing and repairing OBD issues correctly the first time. This presentation will also address: 1)the customer impact of first time through capability of OBD repair, 2)a review of which OBD issues are the most difficult to diagnose and what we as a manufacturer have done to improve the service diagnostics and the level of expertise in the field, and 3)a preview of what future OBD initiatives are being considered in order to prevent OBD service issues from occurring along with what can be done improve the technician?s ability to more accurately diagnose and repair critical OBD-detected failures.
