Thousands of people die or are injured in automobile crashes each year. By leveraging in-vehicle advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving systems (ADS) more proactively, errors caused by human drivers can be reduced, resulting in less fatal and serious car crashes. To learn more about the future of road safety, we sat down with Seth Chalmers, Director of Traffic Engineering for Dibble, to discuss new NHTSA developments, the intersection of ADAS and autonomy, and his experience with Waymo in Phoenix.
