Letters to the Editor: How Readers Responded to Motor Trend's 2011 Car Of The Year

Motor Trend Magazine�s selection of the Chevrolet Volt as its 2011 Car-Of-The-Year saw the publication inundated with responses, the vast majority of these polarized between astute praise and bewildering condemnation. Here, I will read you some of our best Volt Car-Of-The-Year reader mail. And along the way, offer a few of my own responses � including thoughts on how the gulf between these contentious camps of enthusiasts might eventually be bridged.
