IIHS crash tests show how vehicle front-end compatibility save lives

Automakers voluntarily agreed to design their vehicles to prevent smaller one from under-riding larger ones in head-on collisions. They also agreed to provide more protection for vehicle occupants in side impacts. The results can be counted in lives saved.
