Chassis Committee Panel: Vehicle Dynamics for Highly Automated Driving

Bin Li, Aptiv PLC Daniel Williams, ZF Panelists will discuss automated vehicle controls from the perspective of commercial vehicles, vehicle dynamics, and controls. They represent organizations whose engineering efforts address ADAS and automated vehicle controls, such as automated braking, lane keeping strategies / path following, localization and perception, along with traffic modeling. Each has been asked to cover challenges specific to commercial vehicles such as vehicle response times and automated lane changes in emergency situations with articulated vehicles.
