Aerospace OBD Service Issues

This presentation will discuss Honeywell?s experience in the development of integrated maintenance systems for complex aerospace applications including the Boeing 777, 787 and several large scale military programs. The presentation will discuss the history of aerospace fault management and display systems; evolution of these systems into centralized diagnostic and maintenance support systems; quality, accuracy and cost effectiveness criteria; and knowledge management system requirements for these systems. The presentation will conclude with a short discussion of future directions for Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) Systems in aerospace and non-aerospace applications.
