AS9100™D Standard Training

The AS9100D Standard course is a self-paced eLearning that is designed to provide a comprehensive look at the AS9100D standard. It begins with an introduction to quality management systems, the process approach to managing an organization and risk-management requirements, followed by the requirements of AS9100D from clauses 4-10, including a focus on Clause 8, “Operation,” which is not covered in the Overview course. Each section includes review questions designed to develop a deeper understanding and application of the standard to industry practices and is estimated to take up to 6 hours to complete.

This eLearning is the second in SAE’s AS9100D portfolio of courses and is designed for individuals who are involved with quality management systems, implementation, and auditing to the AS9100D standard for Aviation, Space, and Defense and want to be familiar with the standard for being audited or becoming an auditor. Experienced auditors may find value in the content as a refresher and prerequisite to one of the more in-depth offerings in the AS9100D portfolio.
