Advanced Battery Cell Production Dry Room Safety

C2505

Abstract
Content

The Advanced Battery Cell Production Dry Room Safety course is a review of the components, features and purpose of an advanced battery cell, then a detailed examination of a dry room and the production processes that happen in that dry room. It will address equipment and hazards inherent in these processes and describe mitigations and removals of risks associated with those hazards. Lastly, the course will describe how to create a safety management system for a dry room to prevent hazardous conditions.

Learning Objectives
Content
  • Explain the purpose and process of electrode processing through to final battery cell assembly and formation
  • Define an advanced battery cell dry room and list the equipment used in the advanced battery cell production process
  • Select the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) needed for provided scenarios and specific processes
  • Explain hazards associated with equipment, chemicals, electricity, and flammable components
  • Develop documentation procedures for tracking and reporting waste generation and disposal to comply with environmental regulations
  • Create a detailed sample safety management system for establishing and maintaining safety standards in an advanced battery cell production dry room
