Driver Vision Standards Committee
The Driver Vision Standards Committee reports to the Vehicle Safety Systems Group of the Motor Vehicle Council. The Committee is responsible for developing and maintaining SAE Standards, Recommended Practices, and Information Reports related to road vehicle components and factors that affect an occupant's field of view. The Committee also provides input to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Road Vehicle Technical Committee's (TC22) Visibility Subcommittee (SC17). Participants in the SAE Driver Vision Standards Committee include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government, and other interested parties.
