CTTC C2, Electrical Components and Systems
The Common Tests Technical Committee (CTTC) is part of the Construction, Agriculture, and Off-Road Machinery (ConAg) Council. The CTTC is responsible for standards related to the design, development, and application of specific tests of machines, components, and systems. The committee develops SAE Standards, Recommended Practices, and Information Reports in accordance with the SAE Technical Standards Board (TSB) Rules and Regulations. These documents are harmonized with comparable International Organization for Standardization (ISO) documents, where possible. The liaison is with ISO/TC127/SC 1. The CTTC is comprised of three subcommittees and a task force dedicated to creating, preparing and maintaining all relevant specifications, standards, and requirements for common tests. These subcommittees include: CTTC SC1 Hydraulic Systems CTTC SC2 Electrical Components & Systems CTTC SC4 Cold Weather Operations CTTC J180 (Electrical Charging Systems for Off Highway Work Machines) Task Force Participants in the SAE CTTC committee include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government, and others across the construction and agriculture industries.
