Authors Abstract
Content
Soil, the growing medium for crops, and its different properties have higher significance for precision farming. Thus, development of sensors or sensing techniques for determination of different soil properties in a quick and cost-effective way is very crucial for precision farming. This study reviews the state-of-the-art methods/techniques for sensing selected soil properties such as soil texture, organic matter content, soil moisture, nitrate/nitrogen and soil pH.
