Content
Methodology for planning and management of a testing program where there is only a testing vehicle that should remain usable after testing program.
It is a completely new vehicle, from propulsion to the other systems of the vehicle, directly linked to it or not. Furthermore, some of them have never been applied in scale and consequently have never been evaluated in real applications. So, the planning and realization of a test program of a fuel-cell powered vehicle needs the consolidation of several visions and technical competences involved in such a highly complex project as this.
The methodology employed in the planning and management of the test program aggregates the several partners into the common focus of establishing test specifications integrated in terms of results. It considers yet the necessary agility reaction towards the exception conditions so typical of project concluding phases. Therefore, it is necessary to make a critical analysis using FMEA-based tools in order to define the work scope, considering the minimum necessary tests, the deadline, the application and the availability of a single prototype.
This will allow both the definition of a test chronogram and the necessary measurements for the validation and homologation of the product, and the expected reliability levels, thus enabling the incorporation of improvements in the construction of new units.
