WHEN THE STRESS OF A SCHOOL PROJECT BECOMES TOO MUCH TO HANDLE, PASSION AND DETERMINATION CAN TAKE YOU A LONG WAY.

ALL MY LIFE I HAD WANTED to be a high school math teacher. I had everything planned out and it was settled in my mind. I even knew what school I wanted to interview with when I graduated college. However, things took a 180 when I entered my junior year of high school and took my first physics class.

The majority of students in my class really disliked physics because it required long hours of homework, stressful lab assignments, and complex semester projects. Even though it was very challenging, it was my favorite class because it opened up a whole new perspective for me and I found myself slowly forgetting about becoming a teacher. It was then that I was introduced to the career of engineering.
