SAE embraces micromobility and its macro challenges

Bike lanes aren't just for bikes anymore. And in many cases, pathways aren't just for pedestrians. Tiny vehicles are rapidly altering the way many people who live in cities travel short distances. They're also raising questions and concerns within the greater mobility ecosystem.

SAE International's charge is to embrace opportunities and tackle challenges presented by the evolving transportation landscape. That now includes micromobility-the rapidly-growing travel mode that includes electric bicycles and electric scooters.
